How It Works
Our Intensive Out-patient Treatment Plan
1. Assessment
1. Assessment
It starts with a conversation, not paperwork. We meet with you to understand your history, your health, and what's actually going on in your life right now.
From there we determine whether IOP is the right level of care for you.

2. Your Treatment Plan
You're assigned a primary counselor who meets with you at least once a week — the same person, every week, who learns your situation and stays with it.
Together you'll build individualized goals and a treatment plan.

3. Intensive Support
This is the core of the program — up to 20 hours of intensive services, structured around your life rather than replacing it.
You'll take part in group therapy alongside people working through the same things, plus your weekly individual sessions. Our IOP is designed to educate and motivate patients to break the chronic cycle of substance abuse, become more aware of personal needs and relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping with problems.
Random drug and alcohol testing is part of the program. Not as a punishment — as accountability that helps recovery hold.
And because recovery doesn't keep business hours, you get 24-hour access to emergency services, support, and counseling. The hard moments rarely happen during your scheduled session.

4. Moving Forward
Clients learn to identify and pursue personal goals while working toward greater independence and employment.
As you stabilize, the intensity steps down. Many clients move into regular outpatient care, continuing with counseling at a lower frequency. Others continue with medication-assisted treatment. The point isn't to keep you in the program — it's to get you somewhere solid and keep you there.

Not sure if IOP is right for you or your loved one?
That's a normal question — and a short conversation is usually all it takes to find out.
